Field Events – Jackson Johnson, Northwestern College
Jackson Johnson of Northwestern is this week’s field athlete-of-the-week. Johnson, a junior from Fort Dodge, Iowa, set a personal best and won the high jump competing in his first outdoor meet of the season last weekend, the Buena Vista Invite. Johnson cleared (2.09) 6-10.25, surpassing his previous career best by nearly three inches. He won the event and currently has the best mark in the GPAC, third best in the NAIA.
