Okoboji Iowa — Sheldon topped the leader board in Siouxland Conference boys golf at Okoboji Tuesday as they held off Sibley Ocheyedan 165-169. In the process Sheldon moved in to a season tie for the top of the conference standings with MOC Floyd Valley. Central Lyon was next Tuesday at 170 with MOC Floyd Valley at 172 and West Lyon at 172.
Medalist honors went to Tyler Merley of the Orabs with a one-over 37. Ethan Mino of Sibley Ocheyedan, Brandt Boekhout of Central Lyon along with Tate Arends of MOC Floyd Valley all carded 39’s with Kyle Baartman of Boyden Hull and Brock De Boer of Sioux Center both at 41.
