Pottebaum Signs With Northwestern Track Team

Orange City, Iowa —Lauren Pottebaum has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College next year.

Pottebaum is a multi-sport letterwinner who competed four years for the Remsen St. Mary’s High School track and field team. Pottebaum qualified for state and has the school record in both the 100m hurdles and shuttle hurdle relay. An academic all-conference selection and member of the National Honor Society, Pottebaum plans to major in psychology at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Jim and Kris Pottebaum.

“We are excited to have Lauren run for women’s track and field team,” said Northwestern head coach Scott Bahrke. “She is a talented hurdler who will depth to our squad. Lauren has a ton of potential and it will be fun to see her use her gifts during her time at Northwestern.”
