Northwestern College finished fifth in their spring season debut, while Dordt finished eighth at the Concordia Bulldog Invite, played Thursday at the Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb.
he Red Raiders shot a 342, six strokes in back of fourth place Bellevue (Neb.). Morningside won the team title with a 321. Dordt had a day total of 362 and was nine strokes behind Mount Marty with a 353 and seven strokes clear of Midland with a 369.
Two Northwestern golfers, Kate Wynja and Shayla Murray, finished in the top 15 individuals overall. Wynja tied for 13th with an 83, recording her third top 15 finish of the season. Murray tied for 15th overall with an 84, placing in the top 15 for the fourth time. Anna Perrenoud tied for 24th (87), Hayley Carlson tied for 29th (88), Chanda Zomermaand T36th (91) and Samantha Vander Velde T48th (99) were the other Red Raider finishers.
Dordt’s Alyssa Fedders and Molly Banks had an 84 and 87 respectively to lead the Dordt five with Fedders finishing tied for 15th overall and Banks was tied for 24th.
Lisa Lied (Iowa Western CC) earned medalist honors with a 76, followed by two Morningside golfers with a 77 (Maria Zorrilla and Maria Nava).
