Shane Solberg was named a preseason All-American by the annual Street and Smith’s Football publication released earlier this week.
One of two wide receivers listed among the 11-player team on offense, Solberg ranked second in the NAIA with 85 receptions and fourth in receiving yards (1,264) in earning All-American honors by both the NAIA and Associated Press last season. He scored 13 touchdowns, second most in the GPAC, and posted seven games with over 100 receiving yards.
Solberg a former Boyden Hull Rock Valley Nighthawk is the program’s all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns and receptions in a single game (18 vs. Briar Cliff) and is a two-time all-conference selection.
