Des Moines, Iowa — Friday marked day two of the Iowa State individual wrestling tournament and a strong contingent of wrestlers remained from the Siouxland, War Eagle and Lakes conferences.
Wrestling began with the morning session at 9:00 including Class 1A and 3A quarterfinals followed by the 1A and 3A second round of consolations. The afternoon session ran from 2:30 till 5:45 including the Class 2A quarterfinals then the 1A semis and third round consolations. The session wrapped up with the Class 2A second round of consolations.
The evening session got underway at 7:30 with the Class 3A third round consolations. Scheduled to start at 8:45 the Class 2A semis and third round of consolations to wrap up day two at 10:00 pm..
