At the Sheldon Early Bird Tournament, Cherokee enters as the top-ranked team in Class 3A, while host Sioux Center holds the No. 2 spot in Class 4A at the Sioux Center Invite. Also competing in Sioux Center are No. 9 Central Lyon in Class 2A and No. 8 Boyden-Hull in Class 1A.
