Hull, Iowa — The Western Christian Wolfpack advanced to the Class 2A Region 1 Final after topping Boyden-Hull 58-48 Friday night in Hull.
Western jumped out to an early lead and the Wolfpack were up 19-11 after one. At the break the Wolfpack had a 29-18 lead. After three the lead was 40-29, and Western went on to win 58-48 after the Wolfpack hit some key free throws to ice the game.
Western got a team high 16 from Olivia Granstra, fifteen from Ally Postma, and ten from Abby Postma. Boyden-Hull got a game high 19 from Brooke Zylstra and 15 points from Marissa Pottebaum.
With the win Western improves to 16-7 on the year and will face Central Lyon Wednesday night for a trip to state. Boyden-Hull ends their year at 15-8.
