Comments from Boys Head Coach Derek Keizer
We did an outstanding job on the boards tonight. We were able to get 9 offensive rebounds and those led to some easy baskets for us.

Dawson Feenstra was able to assert himself early with some points in the paint and then was able to stretch the floor as he got hot from the 3-Pt line, hitting hitting 3 in a row at one point in the third quarter. Our inside presence gave them fits. We wanted to establish that from the beginning and we stay committed to it throughout the game.

LeMars is a tough team to guard as they screen really well for Mackey. I thought our team defense was pretty good for the most part as we limited them on the offensive glass. Very happy we could finish the week with 3 road wins after a tough start to our season. We are a work in progress, but we have great group of kids that are willing to practice hard and work through the process of who we are trying to become.
