The Easter Bunny Will Be Hiding Easter Eggs Throughout Northwest Iowa Soon

Northwest Iowa — Easter is coming soon and the Easter Bunny has been busy getting Easter eggs ready to be hidden for children all over northwest Iowa to find.

In Sanborn, the First Reformed Church will be holding a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1st, at 10 a.m. Everyone is invited.

In Sheldon, the SCDC’s Children’s Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 8th, at 10 a.m. in Sheldon City Park. There will be over 10,000 eggs with different prizes and candy in each one. The SCDC will also be giving away 10 bicycles. Two bicycles will be given away to one boy and one girl in each age category: 2-3 years old, 4-5 years old, 6-7 years old, 8-9 years old, and 10-12 years old. To enter the bicycle giveaway a registration must be filled out before the hunt begins. You can find the registration form on the SCDC website.

The Sibley Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 8th, beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the Easter Bunny visiting for pictures. The hunt was to be at Central Park in Sibley, but will instead be held at the local Legion Building at 10 a.m. as they have determined that Central Park will be too wet. The hunt is for ages 2nd grade and younger.

Orange City’s Chamber will be holding an egg hunt at Windmill Park on Saturday, April 8th, at 11 a.m. This hunt will be for ages 0-5th grade and there will be lots of candy. The Easter Bunny will be making a stop for pictures with the children. All children participating in the hunt need to bring an Easter basket or something to keep their eggs in as they find them.

In Primghar, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt at the Primghar City Park on Saturday, April 8th, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. There will be snacks at the egg hunt and the Easter Bunny will be there for pictures. Treat bags will be available while supplies last.

In Sioux Center, the All Seasons Center is holding an Easter Egg Drive-Thru in their parking lot on Saturday, April 8th, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Children 10 years old and under will receive a treat bag.

In Rock Rapids, there will be the VFW Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th, at 1 p.m. at Island Park by the pool. This hunt is for children 12 years old and younger. There will be two hunting areas, one for ages five and under and the other for ages six and over.
