Trouble Right Here In River City This Weekend

band 4Sheldon, Iowa — We’ll have trouble, right here in River City this weekend, as the Jay Shelp Community Theatre production of Meredith Wilson’s “The Music Man” is performed during Celebration Days.

King Hickman was one of three of the show’s members to appear on the KIWA Morning Show Tuesday morning.  He plays Professor Harold Hill in the beloved musical, and tells about the show, and his character.

The Jay Shelp Community Theatre production of Meredith Wilson’s “The Music Man” will be performed Thursday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm, with a Sunday matinee performance Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm.  There will be no presentation Friday.

Hickman says the show will be worth the price of admission, just for the performance of one actor.

Tickets will be available only at the door.  The show will be performed at the Sheldon High School Auditorium
