Northwest Iowa — MOC Floyd Valley swept the competition in Siouxland Conference golf Thursday. In the boys meet at Sioux Center the Dutch out shot the Sheldon Orabs 150-154. In the girls meet at Rolling Hills it was MOC Floyd Valley at 185 followed by West Lyon at 196.
Medalist honors in the boys meet went to Sheldon’s Tyler Merley with an even par 35. The rest of the top six were all at 37. The Official order of finish had Collin Root and Tate Arends of MOC Floyd Valley followed by Freddy Bullock of Sioux Center and Brandt Boekhout of Central Lyon. Trenton De Haan rounded out the top six.

2017 Siouxland Conference Boys Golf – SC Team Results 5-04-17
In the girls meet Alexa Arends of MOC Floyd Valley medaled at 41. Samantha VanderVelde of Sioux Center was next at 44 followed by Martha Stein of Okoboji at 45. The remainder of the top six were all at 47 and included Megan Grimes of Sibley Ocheyedan, Rebekah Ripperda of West Lyon and Hannah Butler of Okoboji. Sheldon was led by Sierra Seivert at 52.
