The Cherokee Ride Runners Spring Rendezvous will be May 2nd, May 3rd, May 4th with a school day on Friday, May 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m at the Licklider Shooting Complex on Little Sioux Road in Cherokee.
The event includes all re-enactions from 1740 and the 1880’s. Come and enjoy living history!
This event is free to attend. There will also be a potluck meal Saturday Night along with a fundraising auction the same night.
Other events include Hawk and Knife throw, various shooting events (you will be in charge of posting and pulling your own targets on the range), the Outlaw Hawk Throw (must have a handle and can be thrown with one hand and there are no explosives allowed)
For campers, there is limitied water and you will be in charge of hauling out your own trash. Primitive camp fee is $15 with a range fee of $15.
