Hegg Health Center and Community Blood Bank will host an urgently needed Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, August 5th at 1202 21st Ave. in Rock Valley.
Hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4 p.m., with donor registration inside the O.P.S. Local blood supplies have fallen into critical shortage, and all blood types are urgently needed. Donors will receive a $15 Pizza Ranch gift card as a thank you for supporting patients this summer.
Eligible donors must be at least 17 (16 with parental consent), weigh 110 pounds or more, be in good health, and bring a valid ID.
