Master Conservationist Program – Session #5: Fresh Air & Fresh Fares + U‑Pick

September 28 @ 6:00pm - 8:00pm

ISU Extension and Outreach, the Sioux County Conservation Board, and local conservation experts are wrapping up their Master Conservationist Program — a five‑week blended online and in‑person series designed to help participants better understand Iowa’s natural resources, ecosystems, conservation history, and current challenges while learning practical ways to become informed stewards and community conservation leaders.

Session #5, Fresh Air and Fresh Fares (Outdoor Meal) and U‑Pick at Holland Farms, will be held Monday, September 28th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sandy Hollow Recreation Area. This grand finale features an outdoor dinner made with local ingredients, offering time for reflection and discussion on the human element of conservation and how to communicate these topics within local communities. The evening concludes with a special U‑pick experience at Holland Farm.
