The natural world is filled with color, shape, and design. In 2019, the O’Brien County Conservation Board will be hosting a monthly Nature’s Art series to engage people of all ages in looking at nature through an artistic lens.
The first of the series will begin with a Color Hike on Saturday, January 19th. Meet at the south side of Dog Creek Park at 4895 Warbler Ave near Sutherland at 2:00 p.m. This event will explore the wide range of colors which can be seen in the winter landscape. Participants will be surprised to note the vivid palate of colors and will have an opportunity so go on a search for a specific hue. This program will involve being outdoors and walking on varied terrain.
Dress for the weather and join in on the colorful fun! Call the Prairie Heritage Center – 712-295-7200 for more information.
