Alton, Iowa — An Alton man is charged with a felony following an incident late Saturday night (April 9th) in Alton.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Alex Peter Pohlen is accused of trying to entice a 14-year-old girl for sex.
Court records indicate that Pohlen is charged with Enticing a Minor Under 16 for Sexual Purposes, which is a Class D Felony. He was taken into custody by Orange City officers and placed in the Sioux County Jail at Orange City. According to jail records, he remained in custody as of mid-morning Monday.
