Hull, Iowa — A Hull resident was taken to a Sioux Center hospital after a pickup versus bicycle accident between George and Hull.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that it happened on Sunday, June 23, 2015, six miles north and two miles east of Hull at A52 and K60. They say 31-year-old Travis Techen of George was driving a 1999 Dodge Pickup eastbound on A52 when he collided with a bicycle being ridden by Tricia Heynen of Hull.
The Lyon County Ambulance took Heynen to Sioux Center Health.
Techen’s vehicle sustained approximately $1,000 in damages.
Lyon County Sheriff’s Department says the Lyon County Ambulance crew, George Fire Department, and George EMS assisted on the scene.
