Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Firefighters were called to Fieldcrest Assisted Living in Sheldon late Friday afternoon.
Assistant Fire Chief Brad Hindt tells KIWA that the call was for a fire in a clothes dryer. Hindt says when firefighters arrived they found an overloaded dryer had filled the room with smoke.
Hindt says there was no damage reported, and firefighters were on the scene for about twenty minutes.
