Hartley Man In Jail Facing Four Felony Counts In Connection With Check Forgery

Hartley, Iowa — A Hartley man is in jail in Primghar after he was charged with four counts of forgery, a class D felony.

According to court records, on four different occasions in late August and early September of this year, 37-year-old James Martin Stallman of Hartley wrote four checks that were not his and all belonged to the same owner.
