Jackson, MN Man Taken To Hospital After Rolling Semi Near Little Rock

Little Rock, Iowa — A Jackson, Minnesota man was taken to a hospital after an accident on Monday near Little Rock.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that at a few minutes before 10:00 a.m., 49-year-old William A. Murray of Jackson was driving a semi owned by New Fashion Pork and was attempting to make a right turn at the intersection of 120th Street and Marsh Avenue, two miles north of Little Rock.

While making a wide turn, the front wheel of the semi got too close to the edge and was sucked into the ditch causing the tractor and trailer to overturn in the ditch.

The Little Rock Ambulance took Murray to the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley. His injuries were described as “minor.”

The amount of damage is still under investigation.

The Little Rock Fire and Ambulance crews and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources assisted with the response to the accident.
