Police Investigate Snow Thrower Theft

Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Police are investigating the theft of a snowblower from a Sheldon implement dealer.

According to the police report, the theft at Sheldon Power & Equipment happened sometime between last Saturday afternoon (November 19th), and yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, November 22nd).

Police say the red and black Husqvarna ST 151 single stage snow thrower was taken from the east side of the implement dealer’s building.  According to the report, there were other snow throwers in that location, as well, but the one taken was not chained up, as were the others.

The report lists the value of the snow thrower as $600.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the Sheldon Police Department.
