Sheldon Police Working Theft Cases

sheldon police pd car door logoSheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Police are investigating the theft of a tool from a truck parked at Super 8 in Sheldon.

According to authorities, a Trumpf Trutool N1000 Electric Nibbler was taken from the bed of a pickup while the truck’s owner was staying at Super 8.  The report says the tool is valued at $66-hundred, which makes the crime a Class D Felony.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.

A Pair of 17-year old female juveniles face charges of 5th Degree Theft.  According to Sheldon Police, the girls allegedly stole more than three-hundred spoons from the Sheldon High School Cafeteria, and threw them in the garbage.  The spoons were valued at $115.00.

Police say the case was turned over to juvenile authorities.
