Heron Lake, Minnesota — A Rock Valley man was taken to the hospital after an accident near Heron Lake, Minnesota late on Monday night, June 26, 2023.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that at 11:57 p.m., 22-year-old Benjamin Van Otterloo of Rock Valley was driving a 2010 Buick LaCrosse northeast-bound on Highway 60, three miles southwest of Heron Lake at mile marker 24.
The report lists few details of the crash — only that Van Otterloo went off the roadway and the Buick rolled. It does say that alcohol was NOT a factor in the accident.
The Heron Lake Ambulance took Van Otterloo to Sanford Worthington Hospital. His injuries were termed “non-life-threatening.”
The state patrol says the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Heron Lake Police assisted with the response to the accident.
