Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help Solving Rural Orange City Burglary/Theft Case

Orange City, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is appealing to members of the public to see if they know anything about a case they’re trying to solve.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, November 9, their deputies investigated reports of burglary and theft that occurred at K-64 Rentals, which is a mile south of Orange City on county road K64.

Upon further investigation, deputies believe that the perpetrator or perpetrators cut padlocks to gain entry to storage units. Once entry inside the units was gained, property was stolen.

They believe that the crimes occurred sometime in the two weeks prior to November 9th.
