Hull, Iowa — A Maurice man’s pickup was damaged in an accident in Hull on Thursday, February 23rd.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 10:00 am on Thursday, 32-year-old Matthew Roozing of Hull was driving a 2010 Kenworth semi-tractor pulling a grain trailer eastbound on Highway 18 in Hull. Fifty-five-year-old Howard Vlieger of Maurice was driving a 2000 Ford F-250 pulling a livestock trailer eastbound on Highway behind Roozing. According to the report, Roozing attempted to turn right onto a business driveway; Vlieger attempted to pass Roozing on the right and struck the grain trailer.
The Ford received $8,000 damage. The grain trailer received $500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
