Search Warrant Leads To Arrests

Hawarden, Iowa — The execution of a search warrant has led to the arrest of one person on sex abuse charges and another on narcotics charges.

According to the Hawarden Police Department their officers executed a search warrant on a Hawarden residence early Sunday afternoon.

Hawarden Police say the search turned up evidence in relation to a sexual assault that allegedly occurred on February 4th. Authorities say the evidence led to the arrest of 25-year-old Luis Alejandro Flores, of Hawarden, on charges of Sexual Abuse.

In addition, police say the search also turned up items that led to the arrest of 20-year-old Aden Waterman, of Hawarden for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and violation of the Social Housing Ordinance in the City of Hawarden.
