Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Rock Valley, Iowa – Rock Valley native and Minnesota Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel talked about Organized Team Activities (OTAs) for the Vikings after being interviewed by local Minneapolis, Minnesota, media Thursday, June 4th.
Van Ginkel highlighted the fact he will now be working with former first round pick and fellow linebacker Dallas Turner on a more full-time basis in Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores’ scheme. Former Vikings linebacker and teammate Jonathan Greenard was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles a couple of months ago.
Van Ginkel also noted that he is getting to know other new teammates that were either selected in this past year’s NFL Draft, or free agency, better and highlighted what he needs to do during OTAs to prepare for training camp in August and the regular season in September.
