Bitterly cold air remains across the region today, with early morning wind chills of -27 to -31 across the area. While wind chills will slowly improve through the day, winds will pick up in the afternoon resulting in areas of blowing and drifting snow.
The active winter weather will continue through this week, with more snow possible on late Wednesday night into Thursday, then again on Saturday. There is still uncertainty with regard to the track of the systems, and on precipitation type for the Saturday system, so snowfall amounts are still uncertain at this time.
