Class Will Help You Decide When To Retire

Sheldon, Iowa — When should I retire? How much money do I need in my nest egg to afford to retire? There’s a seminar coming up in Sheldon that will help you to answer these questions.

Elderbridge staff will be hosting “Ready, Set, Retire!,” a retirement preparation workshop. This workshop will be held two separate dates, April 3rd and 4th at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon. Thomasina Hegg with Elderbridge tells us more.

Both workshops will start at 5:45 p.m. in Building “A”, rooms 116-119. Each session will conclude at around 8:30 p.m.

The event is free of charge. Registration is preferred but walk-ins are also welcomed. All members of the public are welcome to attend. She says it’s aimed at those over 50, but younger people are also welcome, especially since they can help their parents when it’s time to make retirement decisions.

To register or for more information, please contact Thomasina at 800-243-0678 or THegg@elderbridge.org.
