Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon City Council will meet in their first regular session of the year this Wednesday January 4th with only one item of new business on the agenda, the second reading of the HTC Communications franchise.
Originally the discussion of a Library Director was scheduled, but that has been removed from the agenda. However, the Library Board of Trustees has scheduled a meeting Wednesday at 6:30 at the library for the purpose of discussing the Library Director position. That discussion will be held in closed session. When a new Director is hired, the City Council must approve the wages for that person.
Wednesday’s Council meeting will be held at 4:30 in the Upper Level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
