COVID-19 Latest Update On Number Of Cases In Northwest Iowa

Northwest Iowa — The number of COVID-19 cases continues to climb. Here is the latest available information.

As of Friday evening, in the four northwest Iowa counties:

Lyon County had one case — an individual between 45 and 60 years old, announced late Friday morning.

Osceola County still had none.

O’Brien County had three cases. The first, announced Tuesday evening is an adult female between 41 and 60. The second, announced Wednesday, is an adult male between 61 and 80. And the third is an adult male, also between 41 and 60.

Sioux County now has seven cases, the latest two of which were announced late Friday afternoon. They are an older individual between 61 and 80 and a younger individual between 18 and 40.

Nearby, Plymouth County reported its first case on Thursday evening — a male in the age range of 18-40.

Dickinson County has one case. Clay County now has two. Buena Vista and Cherokee Counties continue to be free of COVID-19 cases at last report.
