Sheldon, Iowa — Over the past several weeks the City of Sheldon has invited citizens to a series of workshops to help design the proposed Crossroads Community Park.
Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth says the final public workshop is scheduled for this Wednesday.
Strouth says he’s excited to see the finished plan, now that the most recent revisions have been incorporated.
He says the park will be located on a 40-acre tract of land that runs to the west and to the south of the Crossroads Pavilion event center, and include the borrow pit area.
Wednesday’s Community Workshop will be held in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services center in downtown Sheldon, and will begin at 6:00 pm. All Sheldon residents are invited to attend.
