Larchwood, Iowa — Online sports betting has begun, and on-site sports betting starts this Saturday at Grand Falls Resort & Casino near Larchwood.
We talked with General Manager Sharon Haselhoff, and she gives us the latest.
Haselhoff tells us that if you are an active resort club member at Grand Falls, you may not even have to go to the casino to set up your account.
She says that the on-site betting will start off as a temporary site, but they have signed an agreement with a sportsbook company and when everything gets approved for them, they will get their permanent site established.
She says they wanted to make sure that their sportsbook area was set up for Iowa college football season. According to Haselhoff, they’ve fielded a lot of calls. She tells us it’s the number one question she’s been asked in recent months, so it appears that their guests are very excited for it to start as well.
