Habitat For Humanity Gets House Gifted From Sioux Center Land Development

cropped-logo-header1Sioux Center — Siouxland Habitat For Humanity will be the recipient of a house that is being given to them by Sioux Center Land Development, to be rehabilitated and used to provide a Habitat For Humanity Home in Sioux Center.

Sioux Center Land Development Secretary, Dennis Dokter, says development along Highway 75 has provided his organization with a unique opportunity to partner with Habitat For Humanity.

Dokter says Habitat For Humanity has worked hand-in-hand with his organization to make the project a reality.

He says this house became available due to a development plan for the site upon which it originally stood.

Dokter says the home will be relocated to it’s permanent location in northwest Sioux Center.

He says Sioux Center Land Development is excited to partner with Habitat For Humanity on this project.

Dokter says the home has already been moved into it’s new neighborhood, but is being stored on a different lot in that neighborhood until permanently placing it can be accomplished next spring, during the 2017 construction season.
