Primghar, Iowa — A Hartley man has been arrested, and faces felony Sexual Abuse charges.
O’Brien County Sheriff Allen Schuknecht tells KIWA that the arrest of 48-year old Timothy Fontenot was in connection with a warrant issued by Linn County authorities.
The warrant charges Fonetnot with 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse, with a victim under 12-years old, as well as Indecent Contact With a Child, according to Sheriff Schuknecht.
The Sheriff says Fontenot was being held in the O’Brien County Jail at Primghar, until such time as arrangements can be made to transfer him to Linn County to face the charges.
Linn County is in east central Iowa, with Cedar Rapids as its county seat.
