Heartland Steel Purchases Old Hamill Motor Building

Sheldon, Iowa — Heartland Steel and Millwright Services of Sheldon has announced the purchase of the old Hamill Motor GM building in Sheldon Iowa in an effort to facilitate and accommodate their rapidly growing business operations.

“Heartland Steel has experienced considerable growth over the past couple of years and this move will help with the storage of our expanding inventory, increase the footprint of our manufacturing space and accommodate the new jobs that this expansion will create,” said Tobin Smith, Owner of Heartland Steel. “We are excited for our company’s future here in Sheldon,” he says.

“The last couple of months have been fun and exciting to work with Tobin and the Heartland Steel team with their expansion project. It will be exciting to see Heartland Steel grow into the future right here in Sheldon”, said Corey Elgersma, Realtor at Iowa State Bank in Sheldon.
