Hull, Iowa — A Hull woman faces felony charges following her arrest on Friday (November 4th).
Sioux County authorities say the charges against 23-year old Albertina Mendez stem from a complaint by a resident of Puerto Rico that their identity was being used illegally.
Deputies say their investigation led them to discover that Mendez was allegedly using the victim’s identity to gain employment at Premium Iowa Pork in Hospers.
Mendez is charged with Identity Theft and Forgery, both of which are Class D Felonies.
At last report, Mendez was being held in the Sioux County Jail in lieu of a $10-thousand cash bond.
