Sheldon, Iowa — For a period of time this morning (Tuesday, December 5th), people attempting to access the KIWA website were met with extremely slow access, and in some cases, an error message.
Jon Hellinga of SuperHiTech, the company that administers the KIWA websites, tells KIWA that many people who were very patient were, eventually, able to access the website. He says the problem was with the company that actually hosts KIWA’s websites
Hellinga says the problem lasted more than two hours.
Hellinga says the major problem was glacial slow loading of the website.
He says that, in accordance with Murphy’s Law, the outage came at the worst possible time, on the worst possible day.
Hellinga tells KIWA that he’s been monitoring the site throughout the morning, just in case another issue arises.
