Larson: Federal Infrastructure Bill Would Be A “Game Changer” For Lewis & Clark

Tea, South Dakota — President Biden’s $1-Trillion infrastructure bill that’s scheduled for a vote in the House of Representatives next month would, if passes, tremendously speed up completion of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System

Lewis & Clark Executive Director Troy Larson says the infrastructure bill would be a game changer for Lewis & Clark.

He says this summer’s drought highlights how important Lewis & Clark is for their member communities.

Larson says he’s hopeful about the bill’s future in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Lewis & Clark Regional Water system delivers Missouri River Aquifer water to many communities in the tri-state area. Sheldon and Sibley are among the communities yet to be connected to Lewis & Clark.
