Alton, Iowa — A driving complaint of a car going the wrong way on the Highway 60 expressway has led to an arrest of a Le Mars man.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that they arrested 29-year-old James Jensen of Le Mars in the 3 AM hour on Wednesday, February 18th, .
The arrest stemmed from a report that Jensen was driving his vehicle southbound in the northbound lane of Highway 60, about a mile south of Alton.
A Sioux County deputy located Jensen’s vehicle and suspected that he was under the influence of alcohol. Jensen was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense.
The Orange City Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office.
