Monday Is First Day To File In Most Cases For November City/School Election

Northwest Iowa — This Monday is the first day to file papers for this November’s City and School election. Some towns in the state have a primary for city seats, and if that’s the case where you live, the filing period has been open for a while and will wrap up on Thursday.

The filing period for all other cities runs from August 23rd through September 16th.

Archer: Mayor, 4 council seats
Calumet: Mayor, 2 council seats
Hartley: Mayor, 3 council seats

Sheldon: Mayor, 2 council seats (one 2nd Ward, one at-large)
Sutherland: Mayor, 2 council seats

Clay Central-Everly: Director District 1, Director District 3
