More Snow On The Way

Northwest Iowa — Monday’s snow event dropped a couple of inches of light, fluffy snow on northwest Iowa, but don’t put that shovel away just yet.

Kerry Hanko is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, and she says there is more snow on the way.

She says it’s a little too early to accurately forecast exactly how much snow is headed our way.

In addition to the snowfall, Hanko says temperatures will be a bit below normal for this time of year.

None of this should come as a surprise, however, after all, it was just last Friday that Punxatawney Phil poked his head out of his burrow, saw his shadow, and predicted six more weeks of winter.
