Orange City, Iowa — The Orange City Tulip Festival is this week. And while you’re taking in the Volksparade, the Straatfeest, the Vogel Windmill, and eating your poffertjes, don’t forget to take in some art at ArtBurst.
ArtBurst is a two-day juried fine art fair that is free to the public and is held on the courthouse lawn in downtown Orange City during Tulip Festival. Anita Cirulis is one of the people who help organize it, and she tells us about it.
Cirulis tells us that while the deadline is past for this year, they are always looking for artists who might be interested in showing their art at ArtBurst.
According to Cirulis, last year they switched from a one to a two-day show, and it will be a two-day show this year, on Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (May 17th and 18th)
