Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon’s Playground Paradise, a large, mostly wooden playground located at the western edge of the City Park will be closed on Monday for maintenance.
Sheldon Public Works Director Todd Uhl says the playground must be closed periodically to allow city crews to conduct maintenance on the structure.
Uhl says that, in case of inclement weather Monday, they’ll move the rain date to this coming Tuesday, July 21st. The City of Sheldon apologizes for any inconvenience, but Uhl says crews need to perform these maintenance duties to keep Playground Paradise in good repair.
