Public Invited To Play Cornhole To Fight Cancer

Sheldon, Iowa — It’s a game in which players take turns throwing bean bags at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. Known as “Cornhole,” the game is usually played outdoors for fun. But on Saturday, it will be played indoors, for a cause.

The event is being dubbed “Cornhole For A Cure.” Interested parties will play the game at the Sheldon Crossroads Pavilion Event Center on Saturday. One of the organizers of Saturday’s events, Dustin Remme, tells us all about it.

He says they are also giving people a chance to register their team on Wednesday night.

He gives us an idea of what you can expect if you go.

Again, same-day-registration begins at noon on Saturday at Sheldon’s Crossroads Pavilion Events Center, with the competition starting at 1. If you have questions, you can call Dustin Remme at Melissa Remme’s State Farm agency at 324-3012.
