Repairs In Progress At St. Patrick’s Church.

Sheldon, Iowa — A boom lift raised to one of the bell towers at a Sheldon Church got a lot of attention Wednesday morning.

The boom lift held two men who were doing work on the east bell tower at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sheldon Wednesday.

According to St. Patrick’s pastor, Fr. Siby Punnoose, there had been some damage to the bell tower, which caused a water leak into the church building when it rains. Fr. Punnoose says the men in the boom lift were simply completing repairs to the portion of the bell tower that had the leaking issue.
