The Sheldon Police Department reports that the theft was of a 2008 Jayco brand, fold-down style camper, from the service repair lot at Southwest Wholesale on the east side of Sheldon on Highway 18. They say the camper belonged to a customer who had the camper at the business for repair. It was reported that the owner had asked if they were done with his camper. That’s when it was discovered that the camper was missing. The camper is believed to have been stolen sometime after October 1, 2016. The camper did have an Iowa license plate number of 2707DE attached to the rear of it, according to authorities.
