Ribbon Cut At Sheldon’s Newest Boutique

Sheldon, Iowa — The ribbon was officially cut Friday morning at Validation, a new boutique opened in Sheldon’s downtown.

Several community leaders were on hand to offer congratulations and best wishes to Validation owner Amy Hagemann, including Sheldon Mayor Katricia Meendering, who spoke on behalf of the City of Sheldon.

Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth spoke on behalf of the Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation, and he echoed the Mayor’s sentiments.

Sheldon Ambassadors President Skip Tanner presented Hagemann with a plaque containing a portion of the ribbon from her business’ ribbon cutting.

Hagemann took the opportunity to say thank you for all the support she’s seen in opening the new business.

Validation is open Monday through Friday from 10-6 and Saturday 10-1. The store is located on 3rd Avenue, downtown in Sheldon.
