Sheldon, Iowa — Sanford Sheldon is going to be one doctor short for a while, but it’s for a good reason.
Dr. Ryan Becker tells us he’s being deployed with the Air National Guard’s 185th Air Refueling Wing out of Sioux City.
Becker tells us about his role in the mission.
He says they’re headed to a peninsula in the Persian Gulf, northwest of UAE.
Dr. Becker says he’ll only be overseas about two months if everything goes as planned, and then he’ll be helping out in Sioux City.
Becker says his patients living in and around Sheldon should be well-taken-care-of in his absence.
Dr. Becker says he hopes to be back in the Sanford Sheldon Clinic on July 5th.
